Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks stamp set and the Ornate Layers Dies to create a quick thank you card to share with you today.  I made this card on a Facebook Live video on Saturday for our Inkin’ Krew Ornate Garden event and I’ve uploaded the video to my YouTube page.  You can see the video here.

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 485.

I started by adhering a panel of Ornate Garden Specialty DSP to a panel of Mint Macaron card stock with SNAIL.  Then I punched the bottom of a panel of Mint Macaron DSP from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP pack with the Banner Triple Punch and I adhered the banner to the DSP panel with SNAIL.  I cut a circle from White Vellum with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and I adhered the vellum circle with SNAIL to the card front.

I cut a panel of  Early Espresso card stock with one of the Ornate Layers Dies and then adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.  I stamped the sentiments from the Ornate Thanks photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso and Mint Macaron inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I added three of the Gilded Gems around the sentiment to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Ornate Garden DSP to a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

If you’re interested in viewing the video, you can see it here (if you’re viewing this blog post via email, click here to go to my blog to see the video).  You may want to fast forward to about 4:40 into the video as the first few minutes were specific to the Facebook event this weekend.   The card making starts around that time. 🙂

I’ve created a printable PDF with written instructions and a list of products used to create this card.  You can download, print and/or save it by clicking this image:
