Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Hello Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose stamp set bundle to create my card to share with you today.  Just a reminder, the bundle pricing for this great stamp set will be going away on June 2!  So be sure to pick yours up soon!  And the 3D Embossing Folder Plate is retiring only available while supplies last, so if you haven’t picked that plate up to use with the new style 3D Embossing Folders, add one of those to your cart too!

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #432.

The flowers on my card were inspired by Just Us Girls  #533.

I started by stamping the rose outline image from the To A Wild Rose photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink across a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then I embossed the panel with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and the 3D Embossing Folder Plate.  I adhered the embossed panel to a larger panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL and to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Whisper White card stock with the border die from the Wild Rose Dies and then snipped the die cut into two pieces and adhered the pieces to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic Black card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the image out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and adhered it with Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the flower and leaf outline images from the To A Wild Rose stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then inked the more solid images for the flower and leaf in Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz inks, stamped them on scrap paper once and then stamped them over the lined images.  I cut the flower and leaf out with the coordinating dies from the Wild Rose Dies and adhered the flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the leaves with Glue Dots.  I added three Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower outline image from the To A Wild Rose stamp set twice in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then inked the more solid images for the flower in Calypso Coral ink, stamped them on scrap paper once and then stamped them over the lined images to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Very pretty, Amy, and an interesting take on the sketch. I hope they pick yours…not like I’m biased or anything! I, like Sandi, like the way your colored rose pops because of the black and white ones.

  2. Love the single colored blossom! Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches this week, Amy!

  3. What a beautiful card Amy! Those flowers are gorgeous! The colour just pops out against the black and white! Very elegant! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
