Stampin’ Up! Grace’s Garden Hello Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Grace’s Garden stamp set bundle to create a quick hello card to share with you today.  The Grace’s Garden stamp set and Garden Gateway Dies will be carrying over into the next Annual Catalog, but the bundle pricing goes away.  So get yours now and save 10%!!

My card was VERY loosely inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #433.  If you close one eye and hold it just right, you can see the sketch.  😉

My card also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #062.  I went straight across the top.

I started by stamping the two flower images from the Grace’s Garden photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the flowers with Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Then I cut the arched gate from Whisper White card stock with one of the Garden Gateway Dies.  I adhered the die cut gate with Foam Adhesive strips to the larger panel.

I stamped the cat, small flower, bird and sentiment images from the Grace’s Garden stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the cat, flower and bird images with Light and Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut them out with the coordinating Garden Gateway Dies.  I adhered the die cut pieces to the panel with Glue Dots.

I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the panel.  I adhered the stamped panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to a slightly larger panel of  Whisper White card stock and then to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added one of the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower image from the Grace’s Garden photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and colored the flowers with Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo, Soft Sea Foam and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers to  finish the inside of the card.

  1. Amy, your card is beautiful! The white gives it an elegant look and makes the colors pop.

  2. Pretty card. I need to order this bundle as soon as I get home OR take a chance that UPS will deliver here. I have never seen or heard a truck go down this dirt road and there are no neighbors to ask.

  3. Love your clean and simple cottage garden Amy and it’s perfect for playing along over at Tic Tac Toe with us this week! I chuckled when I read your post and comments about your interpretation of the FMS sketch though; that one beat me this week – truth, splodges scare me!! Have a great week 😉

    • Hahaha…that was was pretty rough for me too! Thanks for stopping by to leave a comment! 🙂

  4. Amy, I love the simplicity of your design. I love the comment about the FMS sketch. Perfect take on the top row across of the Tic Tac Toe board this week. Thank you for playing along with us.
