Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World For The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalog to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

The masculine theme for my card was inspired by The Paper Players PP491.

I started by adhering a panel from the World Of Good Specialty DSP (available June 3) to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful World stamp set (available June 3) in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the Stamparatus (to ensure solid coverage).  I embossed the panel with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the Early Espresso card stock panel.

I cut a panels of Misty Moonlight card stock (available June 3) and Brass Foil Sheets (available June 3) with three of the dies from the World Map Dies (available June 3).  I adhered the die cut pieces together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card front with Glue Dots.

I adhered the layered panel to a Cinnamon Cider card base (card stock available June 3) with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added one of the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots to the card front to finish it.

I inked the globe image from the Beautiful World stamp set in Early Espresso ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

  1. IN with the new! I love it all. Your use of the globes, esp in brass, is wonderful. Good showing of the new products!

  2. Absolutely stunning, Amy! The Misty Moonlight “pops” against the Crumb Cake. A perfect masculine clean and simple card. Thank you for playing in my challenge over at The Paper Players this week!

  3. Amy I really like your use of the designer paper and the embossing folder. They give it an aged look. Then surprise bright and modern globes. Very nice thanks.

  4. Love this card! It’s perfectly designed with the script and embossed background. Love the gold/blue die cut globes. Thanks for sharing it with us this week at the Paper Players! 🙂
