I used the fun Have A Hoot stamp set bundle from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! August-December 2020 Mini Catalog to create a Halloween card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 498.

I started by adhering a panel of Magic In This Night DSP (available Aug 4) to a panel of Basic Black card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to a Basic Black card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I cut a circle from Mango Melody card stock with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I trimmed the edge off the Mango Melody circle and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the image from the Have A Hoot stamp set (available Aug 4) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Bumblebee card stock.  I colored the tree with Light and Dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut around the image with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered the die cut circle to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the owl image again in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the image with Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Gray Granite and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut the image out with the coordinating die from the Peek-A-Hoot Dies.  I colored around the edges of the die cut image with the Light Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Marker and then adhered the die cut images to the card front with Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Have A Hoot stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a strip of Magic In This Night DSP, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added a Bumblebee Enamel Dot from the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and owl from the Have A Hoot stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the owl image with Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Mango Melody and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
