Stampin’ Up! Happiest Of Birthdays For The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Happiest Of Birthdays stamp set to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel from the Playing With Patterns 6″ x 6″ DSP to a panel of Night of Navy card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I wrapped a strand of Coastal Cabana ribbon from the Playing With Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack around the panel and tied a small knot and then adhered the layered panel to the front of a Night of Navy card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment from the Happiest Of Birthdays stamp set on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I used the Purple Posy Stampin’ Write Marker from the 2019-2021 In Color Markers pack to color the center of the stamp and then stamped in on the Whisper White panel.  I repeated that process a few times until I had more even coverage of the ink.  Then I covered the center of the sentiment with Post-It Notes and inked the top and bottom in Night Of Navy and Coastal Cabana inks and then stamped them on the Whisper White card stock panel.

I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Playing With Patterns Resin Dots near the edge of the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Happiest Of Birthdays stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added a strip of Playing With Patterns DSP to finish the inside of the card.
