I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn stamp set bundle and the Bloom & Grow stamp set to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a plaid theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the theme challenge for us this week:

My card design was inspired by Sketch Saturday #630.

I started by adhering panels from the Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ DSP (on sale for 15% off during October) and the 2019-2021 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP packs to a panel of Pretty Peacock card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel over the seam between the papers three times and I tied a bow.  I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Pretty Peacock card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Bloom & Grow photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Cajun Craze card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut around the sentiment with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies and then I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the leaf outline images from the Beautiful Autumn photopolymer stamp set in in Bumblebee and Cajun Craze inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I inked the solid leaf images in Cajun Craze and Bumblebee inks, stamped them on scrap paper and then stamped them over the outline images.  I punched the leaves out with the coordinating Autumn Punch Pack punches and then adhered them with Glue Dots to the card front.  I added three of the Bumblebee enamel dots from the 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots pack to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of the Plaid Tidings DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
