Stampin’ Up! Autumn Goodness Thankful Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “Giving Thanks” theme and I’m featuring the Autumn Goodness stamp set bundle for my project.

My card works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC085.  I can check off every single box on the board except for the Scarecrow.  🙂

I started by adhering a panel from the In Good Taste DSP (on sale for 15% off during October) to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a panel of So Saffron DSP from the Subtle 6″ x 6″ DSP pack to a panel of So Saffron card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Whisper White card stock with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then sponged the top with Pool Party and the bottom with Crumb Cake inks.  I adhered the die cut rectangle with card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I stamped the corn stalk and pumpkin images from the Autumn Goodness photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede ink on the panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the images with Light and Dark So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Mango Melody, Crumb Cake and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I cut the stamped images with the Autumn Wheelbarrow Dies and then cut a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the fence die from the Autumn Wheelbarrow Dies.  I adhered the cornstalk die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and then snipped off the end of the fence die cut and then adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.  I added the pumpkin die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiments from the Autumn Goodness stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled them with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed the images.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card.

I adhered a strip of In Good Taste DSP to the bottom of a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Fell for the fence as it finished off the card which turned out to be so cute. Your layout using all these pieces worked out perfectly. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Amy, what a sweet card! I love your choice of background papers, the sponging on the edges of the stitched rectangle and the depth created by the layering of the die cuts. Well, I love it all, lol! Beautiful!

  3. I love the fall scene you created Amy, and indeed you did almost check off every box of the Tic Tac Toe board! Thanks so much for joining us for tttc085 this week!
