Stampin’ Up! Happiest Of Birthdays Fall Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Happiest of Birthdays stamp set and the Gather Together stamp set bundle to create a fall birthday card.  I am always looking for masculine card ideas and the Perfectly Plaid and In Good Taste DSP packs make masculine cards a snap!  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on my Facebook page here and on my YouTube channel here.

My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday 548.

I started by adhering a panel from the In Good Taste DSP (on sale for 15% off during October) to the front of a Sahara Sand card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a panel of Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ DSP (on sale during October for 15% off) to a panel of Pretty Peacock card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I embossed a small strip of Shaded Spruce card stock with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered the embossed strip to another strip of Shaded Spruce card stock and to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Happiest Of Birthdays stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut panels of Brushed Metallic 12″ x 12″ Cardstock and Pretty Peacock card stock with one of the Gathered Leaves Dies and I adhered the die cut leaves to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Happiest Of Birthdays stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink and the leaf image from the Gather Together photopolymer stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

    • Thanks Karen! YouTube was all sorts of crazy and wouldn’t let me go live! Glad that Facebook worked instead. 🙂

  1. Amy, I just found your blog. Had to subscribe. I really like your work. I saw your Nature’s Beauty card with the bunny from last October and wanted to copy. I get a lot of my inspiration from Google Images. Thank you for sharing your creativity.

  2. Thanks so much for the inspiration, Amy. And, may I say, thank you, too, for providing the printable tutorial. My crafting area is a house length away from my computer, so now I can take the info with me instead of running back and forth. You’ve been the inspiration for many of my cards.

    • So glad that you’re enjoying the written tutorials!! Glad that you liked my team member’s projects too. Happy stamping! 🙂
