Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Fall Card For Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn stamp set bundle and the Autumn Greetings stamp set to create my card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC243.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

My card design was inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge 394.

I started by adhering a panel of In Good Taste DSP to the front of an Early Espresso card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I embossed a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder and then I embossed it a second time with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the solid leaf image from the Beautiful Autumn photopolymer stamp set in Bumblebee, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler and Rich Razzleberry inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I used my Heat Tool on the level 1 setting to completely dry the inks and then stamped the lined leaf image from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in VersaMark Ink over the solid images.  I heat embossed the images with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I punched out the leaves with the coordinating punch from the Autumn Punch Pack and then adhered them to the card front with Glue Dots.

I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front panel three times and tied a bow, then adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensioinals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Autumn Greetings stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cards stock and then cut it out with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three of the gold pearls from the Metallic Pearls pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the outline leaf image from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Bumblebee, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I inked the solid leaf in the same color, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the lined leaf images to finish the inside of the card.

  1. An absolutely gorgeous CAS card for autumn Amy! The leaves worked perfectly for the sketch design elements and the gold embossing adds a touch of elegance. I totally love your card!
