Stampin’ Up! November Paper Pumpkin Kit – Jolly Gingerbread Alternative Projects

My Paper Pumpkin Kit arrived from Stampin’ Up! last week and I used the kit pieces to create 15 cute notecard sized Christmas cards!

The November Kit is called Jolly Gingerbread and it contained all of the materials needed to crate 15 gift card holders and matching envelopes.

This is what the gift card holders looked like if they were made as shown in the instructions.

The kit contained the exclusive Jolly Gingerbread photopolymer stamp set and a Blushing Bride ink spot.

This is the set of cards that I made instead. I simply stamped one of the images from the stamp Jolly Gingerbread stamp set in Blushing Bride ink on a panel of Blushing Bride card stock and then adhered the panel to the front of a Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes card. I trimmed off the fronts of the gift card holders, stamped and assembled them as shown in the kit and then adhered the houses to the card fronts with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the house image and sentiments from the Jolly Gingerbread stamp set in Blushing Bride ink on the inside of the note cards to finish them. I created 15 Christmas cards in a snap!
