Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals Gold Mini Pizza Box For The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Petals stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a fun theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.  I did a bit of a CASE of one of my projects that I made awhile back and you can see it here.

Here is the theme that we’re using this week:

I started by assembling one of the Gold Mini Pizza Boxes.  Then I wrapped a panel of Poinsettia Place DSP around the box and adhered the ends together with Stampin’ Seal+.  I secured the ends on the top of the box so that they’d be hidden under the poinsettia layers.

I looped a length of gold cord from the Wonder Of The Season Ribbon Combo Pack and adhered it with Glue Dots to the DSP band.  Then I cut the poinsettia leaves and flowers from Garden Green and Whisper White card stocks with the Poinsettia Dies.  I adhered the flower die cuts together in the center with Glue Dots and to the DSP band with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the leaves with Glue Dots on the DSP band under the flower.

I stamped the berry images from the Poinsettia Petals photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede and Real Red inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut them out with the coordinating Poinsettia Dies.  I adhered the branches with Glue Dots under the flower.  I stamped the sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies and adhered it with Glue Dots under the flower.  I added three Gilded Gems around the flower and one of the Beaded Pearls with a Glue Dot to adhere it to finish the gift box.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this project, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

  1. Stunning Amy 🙂 A beautiful little gift box for some chocolates, jewelry or even a gift card. Love it!!

  2. This is so pretty, Amy. If only I had ordered these, I could have easily joined the hop. It was really different not participating but I’ve enjoyed seeing all the beauties by my teammates.
