I used the Stampin’ Up! Darling Donkeys stamp set and the Oh So Ombre 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper from the upcoming Sale-a-bration 2021 Brochure to create a fun birthday card for the Fab Friday sketch challenge this week.

Here is the sketch for Fab Friday 203.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by embossing a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Granny Apple Green card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a panel of the Oh So Ombre DSP (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 5) with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I trimmed one side of the die cut off to make it more square, then adhered the die cut panel with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.

I cut a strip of Oh So Ombre DSP and trimmed the end at an angle before adhering it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I stamped the image from the Darling Donkeys stamp set (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 5) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Petal Pink and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I cut the stamped image out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and then used the Blending Brushes (available Jan 5) to ink the edges of the die cut with Coastal Cabana ink.  I adhered the die cut image to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Zany Zebras stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock.  I trimmed the ends at an angle and adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added Playing With Patterns Resin Dots around the focal image to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and star images from the Darling Donkeys stamp set in Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I added a strip of the Oh So Ombre DSP to finish the inside of the card.

YouTube Live – 2:00 PM ET…Hopefully!!!
