Stampin’ Up! Snailed It Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Snailed It stamp set bundle from the upcoming January-June 2021 Mini Catalog to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by embossing a panel of Real Red card stock with one of the Stitched With Whimsy Dies (available Jan 5).  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut a panel of Snail Mail DSP (available Jan 5) with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the die cut panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Whisper White card stock with one of the Snail Dies (available Jan 5) and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I cut panels of Snail Mail DSP with the coordinating Snail Dies for the snail and sentiment and I adhered the snail with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the sentiment with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.

I cut panels of Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Bermuda Bay and Crumb Cake card stock with the Snail Mail Dies.  I snipped the stems of the Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Bermuda Bay die cuts and then adhered them over the coordinating Crumb Cake die cuts with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the die cut mushrooms with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front and then added three Resin Hearts (available Jan 5) to finish the card front.

I cut embossed a panel of Whisper White card stock with one of the Stitched With Whimsy Dies and then adhered it to the inside of the Real Red card base.  I stamped the mushroom image from the Snailed It stamp set (available Jan 5) in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Old Olive Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out with the coordinating Snail Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this project, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
