Stampin’ Up! Kangaroo & Company Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Kangaroo & Company stamp set bundle to create a fun birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this project and you can see it on my Facebook page here and on my YouTube channel here.

I started by embossing a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I adhered a panel of Berry Delightful DSP (Sale-a-bration item) to a panel of Shaded Spruce card stock and then to the embossed panel with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then stamped the grass image from the Kangaroo & Company photopolymer stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink across the panel and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I stamped the sentiment from the By The Dock stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Flirty Flamingo card stock and then cut around it with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the kangaroo image from the Kangaroo & Company stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock and then colored the image with Light Crumb Cake and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the kangaroo out with the coordinating die from the Kangaroo Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the flower image from the Kangaroo & Company stamp set in Soft Suede ink on Basic White card stock and then colored the image with Light And Dark Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the flowers out with the coordinating Kangaroo Dies.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Kangaroo & Company stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and I cut around it with one of the tab dies from the Kangaroo Dies.  I adhered the flower and tab die cuts together with Glue Dots and then slid the flowers into the kangaroo pouch to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink and the kangaroo image from the Kangaroo & Company stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
