Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Pink Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the pretty Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set bundle from Stampin’ Up! to create a birthday card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial for this project and you can see it on my YouTube channel here.

My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP276.

I started by cutting a panel of Sand & Sea DSP with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the die cut panel to a panel of Sahara Sand card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the Blushing Bride card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut panels of Pearlescent Specialty Paper and Sahara Sand foil sheets from the Love You Always Foil Sheets with the large die from the Seaside Seashells Dies. I embossed both die cut panels with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder. I snipped the seashells from the Pearlescent paper and the seagrass from the foil paper. I added Blushing Bride ink with a Blending Brush to the embossed seashells and then adhered the pieces to the card front with Glue Dots.

I frayed a small length of Braided Linen Trim and adhered it with Glue Dots to the card front. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells photopolymer stamp set in Blushing Bride ink on Shimmery White card stock. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and seashell images from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Blushing Bride and Sahara Sand inks on a panel of Shimmery White card stock to finish the inside of the card base with Stampin’ Seal.
