Stampin’ Up! A Touch Of Ink Thinking Of You Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration exclusive A Touch Of Ink stamp set and a little bit of the pretty Fine Art Floral DSP and Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate to create a thinking of you card.  I also did a video tutorial for this project and you can see it on my Facebook page here and on my YouTube channel here.

My card design was inspired by the sketch from the Fusion Challenge this week.

I started by lining up the coordinating panels of Fine Art Floral DSP and Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate with the matching designs and then cutting them with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I peeled the backing off the acetate paper and then adhered the two panels together with Stampin’ Seal placed under the area where the sentiment banner would go.

I adhered the layered panels to a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with Stampin’ Seal, then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around it twice and tied a bow.  I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Poppy Parade card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the A Touch Of Ink photopolymer stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock, sprinkled the sentiment with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I punched the end of the panel with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the butterfly images from the Butterfly Gala photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Bumblebee card stock, sprinkled them with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed them.  I punched the images with the Butterfly Duet Punch and adhered the small butterfly to the banner with a Glue Dot.  I added three Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to finish the outside of the card.

I adhered the larger of the butterflies with Stampin’ Seal to a panel of Basic White card stock  to finish the inside of the card.
