I used the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Flamingo stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

I started by adhering panels from the Oh So Ombre 6″ x 6″ DSP (Sale-a-bration item) to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I punched the ends of strips of Pool Party card stock and Bermuda Bay DSP from the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP pack with the Banners Pick A Punch.  I stamped the sentiment from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on the Pool Party card stock strip and then adhered both pieces to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut another panel of the Oh So Ombre DSP with the dies from the Boho Indigo Product Medley and then adhered them to the card front with Glue Dots.  I stamped the Flamingo image from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set in Rococo Rose ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with the coordinating Flamingo Dies.  I adhered the flamingo die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the greenery image from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the flower images with Pool Party and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out with the coordinating Flamingo Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the flamingo and sentiment from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set in Rococo Rose and Bermuda Bay inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
