Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream stamp set bundle to create a quick birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this project and you can see it on my YouTube channel here.

My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP280.

I started by adhering a panel from the Ice Cream Corner DSP to a panel of Purple Posy card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I punched the ends of panels of Ice Cream Corner and Purple Posy DSP (from the 2019-2021 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP pack) with the Banners Pick A Punch and then adhered them to the larger DSP panel with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies and I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I punched panels of Ice Cream Corner DSP with the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch and then stamped the sprinkles image from the Sweet Ice Cream photopolymer stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on the lighter ice cream punch.  I adhered the ice cream punches to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I punched the end of a strip of Basic White card stock with the Banners Pick A Punch and then stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set on the banner in Blackberry Bliss ink.  I adhered the banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Playing With Patterns Resin Dots around the sentiment.  I adhered the layered panel the front of a Blackberry Bliss card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I punched panels of Ice Cream Corner DSP with the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch and adhered the punched pieces with Stampin’ Seal to a panel of Basic White card stock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink to finish the inside of the card.
