I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Friendship stamp set to create a clean and simple card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.
Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC253. Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!
My card theme was inspired by TGIF Challenges #TGIFC308.
I started by stamping the flower image from the Beautiful Friendship photopolymer stamp set in Crushed Curry ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. Then I stamped the leaf images around the flowers in Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz inks. I inked the smaller flower image from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set in Crushed Curry and Pear Pizzaz inks and stamped it next to the larger floral image.
I embossed the stamped panel with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered the embossed panel to a larger panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered the layered panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.
I stamped the floral images from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set in Crushed Curry and Pear Pizzazz inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

so soft and subtle, it’s really beautiful Amy
Thanks Sandi! 🙂
such a nice CAS card. Wish I had purchased the hippos dies!…not like I don’t have enough other already…lol.
The Hippo & Friends Dies are awesome! Perfect for so many sentiments! 🙂
Very lovely with those soft colors and open space. That pretty die cut makes the card for me…it wouldn’t be the same on a plain square or circle.
Thanks Susan! 🙂
Beautiful flowers.
Thanks Margaret! 🙂
This is lovely – simple elegance!
Thanks Linda! 🙂
This is so lovely, Amy. Love the white layers!
Thanks Heidi! 🙂
Beautiful CAS design Amy! Love those pretty flowers.
Thanks Stef! 🙂
Hi Amy, Are you able to share how you stamped the smaller flower with the stem green and the petals yellow?
I inked the smaller flower image from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set in Crushed Curry and Pear Pizzaz inks and stamped it next to the larger floral image. Hopefully that helps, it’s a photopolymer stamp set so it’s easy to ink with two colors. 🙂
