Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Window Birthday Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “for the girls/ladies” theme and I’m featuring the Welcoming Window stamp set bundle for my project.

Stampin' Up! Welcoming Window Birthday Card

I started by stamping the brick image from the Welcoming Window photopolymer stamp set in Soft Succulent ink (available May 4) across a panel of Basic White card stock.  Some were stamped full strength and some without reinking.  Then I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Soft Succulent card stock (available May 4) with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut the window, window box and shutter pieces from Soft Suede and Basic Black card stocks and then adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the stamped panel.

I cut the window image from Basic White card stock and then stamped the small flowerpot and leaf images from the Welcoming Window stamp set in Smoky Slate and Soft Succulent inks on one of the die cut “windows”.  Then I adhered the Basic White die cut pieces in the window openings on my card front.  I stamped the larger vase and flower images from the Welcoming Window stamp set in Smoky Slate, Evening Evergreen (available May 4) and Polished Pink (available May 4) inks on a panel of Basic White card stock, cut them out with the coordinating Window Flower Box Dies and then adhered them with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a small bow, then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Welcoming Window stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, cut it out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the sentiment die cut to finish the card front.

  3. What dimension on a flat card! I love how you did the brick wall! And that window, ledge and vase look they’re coming off the card front! Awesome card. TFS
