Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Just A Note Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance stamp set bundle and the Posted For You stamp set to create my card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial for this card on my Facebook page here and you can also see it on my YouTube channel here.

My card design was inspired by the sketch from the Sugar Pea Mix It Up 78 Challenge.

I started by adhering a panel of So Saffron DSP from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP pack (retiring May 3) to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered a panel from the In Good Taste DSP with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I cut a panel of Pansy Petals DSP (available May 4) with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Hippo & Friends Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  Then I stamped the butterfly image from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I colored the image with Light and Dark So Saffron and Soft Succulent (available May 4) Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut it out with the coordinating Brilliant Wings Dies.  I adhered the die cut butterfly with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a small bow and then stamped the sentiment from the Posted For You stamp set (retiring May 3) in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies and then adhered it with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added one of the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels on the sentiment die cut and then adhered the layered panel to the front of an Early Espresso card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the butterfly image from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then I colored the image with Light and Dark So Saffron and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
