I used the Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven stamp set bundle and the awesome Basic Borders Dies from the upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalog to create my card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial for this card on YouTube live and you can see it here.
I started by cutting the edge off a Thick Basic White card base with one of the Basic Borders Dies (available May 4). Then I stamped the flower outline image from the Hydrangea Haven photopolymer stamp set two times in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I inked the stem and leaves image from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set in Old Olive ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the outline images.
I inked the solid flower image from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped in over one of the lined images. I repeated that process with Highland Heather ink for the second image. I inked the single flower image from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set in Highland Heather ink and then stamped it randomly over the Highland Heather flower. I repeated that process with Gorgeous Grape ink, except I stamped it off one time before stamping the image on the flower, on the Gorgeous Grape flower.
I cut both flowers out with the coordinating Hydrangea Dies. I adhered the Gorgeous Grape flower with Stampin’ Seal and the Highland Heather flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Pastel Pearls around the flowers.
I finished the card by adhering a strip of Hydrangea Hill DSP to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.
