I used the Stampin’ Up! Colors & Contour stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalog to create my card fro the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.
Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC255. Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!
My card design was inspired by The Spot Challenge #157.
I started by adhering a panel of Balmy Blue DSP from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP (retiring May 3) to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I made the die cut longer by rolling it about 3/4 way through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and then rolling it back out and then moving the die down about an inch, lining up the stitched notches and rolling it about 1/2 way through from the other side.
I stamped the leaf image from the Colors & Contour photopolymer stamp set (available May 4) in Garden Green ink on the die cut rectangle and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front. I stamped the outline flower image from the Colors & Contour stamp set in Pacific Point ink and the fill in image in stamped off Pacific Point ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the flower centers with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut them out with the coordinating Scalloped Contour Dies (available May 4). I adhered the die cut flowers with Stampin’ Seal to the card front. I added a small strip of Daffodil Delight DSP from the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP (retiring May 3) with Stampin’ Seal and then wrapped a strand of white twine from the Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack around the panel twice and tied a small bow.
I stamped the sentiment from the Colors & Contour stamp set in Pacific Point ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Scalloped Contours Dies. I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel. I adhered the layered panel to the front of the Balmy Blue card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.
I stamped the outline flower image from the Colors & Contour stamp set in Pacific Point ink and the fill in image in stamped off Pacific Point ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the flower centers with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
