I used the Stampin’ Up! Elegantly Said stamp set and Simply Elegant DSP from the upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalog to create an Anniversary card to share with you today. I borrowed a little inspiration for my project from a card that a team member shared. You can see Jaimie’s card here.
My card design was loosely inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 538.
I started by adhering a panel from the Simply Elegant Specialty DSP (available May 4) to a panel of Basic Gray card stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered a strip of Simply Elegant DSP to a strip of Basic Gray card stock and then to the larger panel with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with one of the Forever Flourishing Dies two times. I snipped up the die cuts a bit so that they’d fit under the sentiment panel and then adhered the die cuts with Mini Glue Dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Elegantly Said stamp set (available May 4) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (available May 4) and then heat embossed it.
I inked the flower image from the Elegantly Said stamp set in Basic Gray ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped in on the Very Vanilla card stock panel two times. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Elegantly Said stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. I added the floral image from the Elegantly Said stamp set two times in Basic Gray ink (stamped off once) to finish the inside of the card.
