Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set from the upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalgo to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Pansy Patch Birthday Card

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of Pansy Petals DSP (available May 4) to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Fresh Freesia card base (card stock available May 4) with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a panel of Evening Evergreen card stock (available May 4) with one of the Ornate Layers Dies and then adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.

I adhered a panel of Pansy Petals DSP over the Evening Evergreen die cut with Stampin’ Seal, then cut another panel of Pansy Petals DSP with one of the openings in the Messages Die.  I adhered the die cut DSP to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Pansy Patch photopolymer stamp set (available May 4) in Evening Evergreen ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it with the same opening in the Messages Die.  I adhered the sentiment die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added an Evening Evergreen gem from the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Pansy Petals DSP to finish the inside of the card.

  1. That lacy border is what caught my eye first and I love the dsp layer behind the sentiment too. Pretty, pretty! TFS
