Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Window Birthday Card for Fab Friday

I used the Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Window stamp set bundle to create a clean and simple birthday card to share with you today.  The design for my card was inspired by one that I saw in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.

Here are the colors for Fab Friday 216.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along with the color challenge too!

My card also works for Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTT118.  I think that my project checks all of the boxes except for single layer and fireworks.

My card also works for the CAS on Friday Challenge 207.

I started by embossing a panel of Fresh Freesia card stock with the Stitched Greenery Die.  Then I adhered the panel to the front of a Fresh Freesia card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment and window frame images from the Welcoming Window photopolymer stamp set in Flirty Flamingo and Crumb Cake inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then I adhered the panel to the front of the card with Stampin’ Seal.  I stamped the flower, flowerpot and windowsill images from the Welcoming Window stamp set in Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron and Fresh Freesia inks on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut them out with the coordinating Window Flower Box Dies.

I adhered the die cut images with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then tied a small bow from Linen Thread and adhered it with a Mini Glue Dot under the windowsill die cut.  I added one of the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I embossed a small strip of Fresh Freesia card stock with the Stitched Greenery Die and then adhered it to a Basic White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Just lovely Amy! I love the clean, fresh feel of your card. Those colours are so spring-like and your window sill is as pretty as a picture. Loving the peek of leaf detailing too – I love that die! Thanks for playing along with us over at TicTacToe this week!
