I used the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration exclusive Delicate Dahlias stamp set to create a thank you card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.
Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC 263. Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!
My card also works for Global Design Project #GDP303 theme.
I started by adhering a panel of Poppy Parade DSP from the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP pack to the front of a Poppy Parade card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I embossed a panel of Basic White card stock with the largest die from the Stitched With Whimsy Dies.
I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Delicate Dahlias photopolymer stamp set (Sale-a-bration exclusive) in Blackberry Bliss, Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie and Shaded Spruce inks on the embossed panel. I adhered the embossed panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. Then I colored a small length of White 1/4″ Seam Binding Crinkled Ribbon with the Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Marker and I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I cut a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with the border die from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal (hidden under the area where the sentiment would be placed) to the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the openings in the Messages Die.
I adhered the sentiment die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. Then I cut a panel of Mint Macaron card stock with one of the Nature’s Thoughts Dies two times and adhered the two die cuts with Mini Glue Dots under the sentiment panel. I added three Gilded Gems to finish the card front.
I stamped the flower and leaf images in Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Blackberry Bliss and Shaded Spruce inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
