I used the Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms stamp set bundle to create a fun birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on my YouTube channel here.

My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP340.

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.  Then I cut a panel of Hues Of Happiness DSP (available May 3) with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies (available May 3) and I adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I cut a panel of Basic Black card stock with the palm tree and grass dies from the Palms Dies and then adhered the die cut pieces to the embossed panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I snipped off the left edge of the die cuts so that they were even with the edge of the embossed panel and then adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base.  I cut a panel of Perfectly Penciled DSP (available May 3) with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I tied a bow from Linen Thread and adhered it to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot.

I stamped the sentiment from the Paradise Palms stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Basic Black dots from the Classic Matte Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and palm tree images from the Paradise Palms stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and the sun in Daffodil Delight ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
