Stampin’ Up! Waterfall Canyon Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Waterfall Canyon stamp set and new Waterfall Dies that will be available beginning September 1 to create a birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on my YouTube channel here.

Stampin' Up! Waterfall Canyon Birthday Card

I stared by cutting a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies.  I used Blending Brushes to add Coastal Cabana ink to the top 1/4 of the die cut panel and Crumb Cake ink to the lower 3/4 of the panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Wildflower Path photopolymer stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink on the top of the panel and then adhered the die cut panel to a panel of Coastal Cabana card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the waterfall images in Coastal Cabana ink (stamped off once for the solid image) and Soft Suede and Crumb Cake inks for the hill images from the Waterfall Canyon photopolymer stamp set on Basic White card stock.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Waterfall Dies (available September 1).  I adhered the hill images with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the waterfall with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I cut panels of Granny Apple Green, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Flirty Flamingo and Gray Granite card stocks with the Waterfall Dies.  I adhered all of the die cut pieces with Multipurpose Liquid Glue except for the rocks, those were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals, to finish the card front.

I stamped the tree images from the Waterfall Canyon stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Hi Amy – I have watched several of your videos and they are excellent. Your examples are so well done. This seemed to be a challenging set for many demonstrators, but you nailed this one above all others. Thank you!
