I used the Stampin’ Up! Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set and coordinating Fresh Cut Stems Dies (that will be available on Thursday, September 1!) to create a quick card to share with you today.

I started by adhering a panel of Basic White card stock to the front of a Coastal Cabana card base with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I used a Blending Brush and one of the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks to apply Coastal Cabana ink to a panel of Basic White card stock.  I adhered the Basic White panel to a panel of Flirty Flamingo card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the floral image from the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out with the coordinating Fresh Cut Stems Dies (available September 1-30 while supplies last) and adhered it to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  I adhered a small length of Gold & Vanilla 3/8″ Satin Edged Ribbon with Stampin’ Seal in a “v” to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Coastal Cabana card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the smaller floral image from the Fresh Cut Flowers stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

World Card Making Day Events – Save The Date, October 1!

INKIN’ KREW WORLD CARD MAKING DAY EVENT – 9 AM ET UNTIL 9 PM ET, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1!

We’re doing it again!!  Our team will be hosting a fun all-day event on Saturday, October 1 for World Card Making Day!  Our event will feature card making presentations live on the event Facebook page as well as some fun giveaways!

Stampin’ Up! is also hosting an event online (see the details here) and we’re scheduling our event so that it runs before and after the Stampin’ Up! event!  Most of us will be using one of the three bundles from the Stampin’ Up! event for our projects so you will come away from the day with tons of ideas for those three bundles!
