Stampin’ Up! Scary Cute Halloween Shaker Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “Halloween fun” theme and I’m featuring the Scary Cute stamp set bundle for my project.

I also did a video tutorial for this card project on my Facebook page.  You can see the Facebook Live here and you can find it on YouTube here.

Stampin' Up! Scary Cute Halloween Shaker Card

I started by adhering two panels of Black & White Designs DSP to the front of a Basic Black card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a piece of Glitter Washi Tape over the seam between the two papers and then snipped it even with the edge of the card base.

I cut panels of Boughs Of Holly DSP and Window Sheets with the outer frame die from the Scary Silhouettes Dies.  Then I cut a panel of Basic Black card stock with the two frame dies (one placed inside the other) and the house and bat dies from the Scary Silhouette Dies.  I also cut a panel of Mango Melody card stock with the moon die.  I adhered the house, moon and two of the bat die cuts with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the DSP die cut and then I placed a few of the For Everything Fancy Sequins in the center of the panel.

I adhered the Window Sheet die cut to the back of the Basic Black frame die cut with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered Foam Adhesive Strips around the edge of the frame die cut.  I adhered the die cut frame over the DSP die cut with the Foam Adhesive Strips to create the shaker.  Then I adhered the shaker to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Scary Cute stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic Gray card stock and then cut it out with the banner die from the Scary Silhouettes Dies.  I adhered the die cut with Foam Adhesive Strips to the card front and the added a die cut bat with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I colored three Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker and then adhered them to the card front to finish it.

I adhered a strip of Black & White Designs DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
