I used the Stampin’ Up! Playing In The Rain stamp set bundle from the upcoming January-April 2023 Mini Catalog to create a fun happy day card to share with you today.
I started by adhering a panel of Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP (available Jan 5) to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Stampin’ Seal. Then I cut a panel of Rain Or Shine Specialty DSP (available Jan 5) with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the die cut panel with Stampin’ Seal to a panel of Old Olive card stock and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut a turtle image from the Rain Or Shine DSP with one of the Playing In The Rain Dies (available Jan 5) and then I adhered the die cut turtle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut another panel of Rain Or Shine DSP with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then snipped the die cut banner in half. I overlapped it by about 1/4″ in the center and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Playing In The Rain stamp set (available Jan 5) in Old Olive ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added three Brushed Brass Butterflies to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Country Gingham DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
