I used the fun new stamp set bundle called Share A Milkshake from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! January-April 2023 Mini Catalog to create a birthday card to share with you today. Also wanted to give a quick shoutout to one of my team members that used the same sketch, colors and bundle that I used today for her project! You can see Tara’s cute card here.
My card design was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #404.
The colors for my card were inspired by Inspire.Create.Challenge #132.
I started by adhering panels of Dandy Designs DSP ($100 level Sale-a-bration item available Jan 5) to the right and left sides of the Petal Pink card base with Stampin’ Seal. The I adhered a panel of Rich Razzleberry DSP from the Regals 6″ x 6″ DSP pack down the middle with Stampin’ Seal. I stamped the sentiment from the Share A Milkshake photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 5) in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Scalloped Contours Dies.
I stamped the glass, ice cream, straw and cherry images from the Share A Milkshake stamp set in Rich Razzleberry (stamped off once for the solid glass image), Petal Pink and Granny Apple Green inks on a panel of Basic White card stock. I cut the pieces out with the coordinating Share A Milkshake Dies (available Jan 5) and then cut the “chocolate sauce” image from Early Espresso card stock with one of the Share A Milkshake Dies. I adhered the pieces together with Mini Glue Dots and Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to the Basic White die cut panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the die cut rectangle twice and tied a bow, then adhered the die cut rectangle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added two white dots from the Adhesive-Backed Milky Dots to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Flowering Tulips photopolymer stamp set in Rich Razzleberry ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Dandy Designs DSP to finish the inside of the card.
