Stampin’ Up! Marigold Moments Thank You Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Marigold Moments stamp set bundle to create a thank yoiu card to share with you today.  I made this project out on Instagram this morning and you can see it here.

Traveling This Week:  I wanted to post a quick note to let you know that I’ll be in Utah for an event most of this week.  I leave later today and return late on Saturday.  I’ll have my computer with me but I likely won’t be able to respond as quickly as I typically do.

Stampin' Up! Marigold Moments Thank You Card

My card design was loosely inspired  by Freshly Made Sketches #576.

And the colors for my card were inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge 506.

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (Online Exclusive item).  I adhered the embossed panel with Stampin’ Seal to the front of a Thick Basic White card base.

I stamped the flower, leaves and stems images from the Marigold Moments photopolymer stamp set in Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight inks (stamped off once for the solid flower images).  I cut the images out with the coordinating Marigold Moments Dies and adhered the large flower cluster with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the other die cuts with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Marigold Moments stamp set in Highland Heather ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around the image with one of the All That Dies.  I adhered the die cut image to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Daffodil Delight dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment to finish the card front.

  1. I love that embossed background, and your pretty bouquet of marigolds works beautifully with the sketch. Have a great time in Utah! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
