Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends Spring Birthday Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “spring” theme and I’m featuring the Nested Friends stamp set bundle for my card.

Stampin' Up! Nested Friends Spring Birthday Card

I started by adhering a panel of Hello, Irresistible 6″ x 6″ DSP (Online Exclusive item) to the front of a Soft Sea Foam card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of Design A Daydream DSP (host exclusive item) with one of the Scalloped Contours Dies.  I adhered the die cut rectangle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the bird, nest and branch images from the Nested Friends stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then I colored the branch with Soft Suede and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers, the nest with Crumb Cake, Soft Sea Foam and Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends Markers and the bird with Pale Papaya and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Nested Friends Dies and then adhered the die cut pieces with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Nested Friends stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added two Pale Papaya gems from the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Hello, Irresistible DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Beautiful! I love your colors and pretty bird. Makes me ready for spring—unlike our 30 degree temps today! TFS. (Hope you are having fun!)
