Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Celebrate You Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Petal Park stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Petal Park Celebrate You Card

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the lined greenery image from the Petal Park photopolymer stamp set in Garden Green ink on another panel of Regency Park DSP.  I inked the fill-in greenery image from the Petal Park stamp set in Garden Green ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the lined image on the DSP panel.  I adhered the DSP panel to a panel of Petal Pink card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiments from the Sentimental Park photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Balmy Blue card stock, sprinkled the images with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Sentimental Park Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the lined flower image from the Petal Park stamp set in Balmy Blue ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I inked the fill-in floral image from the Petal Park stamp set in Balmy Blue ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the lined image.  I colored the flower centers with Light and Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers and then punched the image out with the coordinating Petal Park Punch.  I adhered the larger flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the smaller flowers with Mini Glue Dots and then added Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels around the flowers to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Regency Park DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
