Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Celebrate You Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and the coordinating Sunflowers Dies to create a quick card to share with you today. I made this project out on Instagram this morning and you can see it here.

My card design was inspired by Sketch Saturday #722.

And the sunflower theme for my card was inspired by the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #566.

I started by adhering a panel of Happy Forest Friends DSP (retiring May 1) to the front of a So Saffron card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I adhered a strip of Tea Boutique 6″ x 6″ DSP (on sale, retiring May 1) to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sunflower and leaf images from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (retiring May 1) Crushed Curry and Old Olive inks on panels of Crushed Curry and Old Olive card stocks. I cut the images out with the coordinating Sunflower Dies (on sale, retiring May 1) and then cut panels of Soft Suede (retiring May 1) and So Saffron (retiring May 1) card stocks with dies from the Sunflower Dies. I adhered the leaves and stems to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and the Crushed Curry flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the detailed sunflower die cut with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then added the flower center die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the sunflower.

I adhered a strip of Soft Suede DSP from the Neutrals 6″ x 6″ DSP pack (on sale, retiring May 1) to the sunflower with Mini Glue Dots and then stamped the sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Soft Suede ink (retiring May 1) on a panel of Basic White card stock. I cut the sentiment out with one of the openings in the Picture This Dies (on sale, retiring May 1) and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front. I added three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels (on sale, retiring May 1) to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the sunflower image from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Crushed Curry ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
