Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a “fall frenzy” theme and I’m featuring the Autumn Leaves stamp set bundle from the upcoming September-December 2023 Mini Catalog for my card.
My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 658.
I started by adhering a panel of All About Autumn 6″ x 6″ DSP (available September 6) to the front of a Cajun Craze card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I cut up another panel of All About Autumn DSP in to two 1-1/4″ x 3-5/8″ and one 2-1/4″ x 3-5/8″ panels and I adhered the DSP to panels of Early Espresso card stock with Stampin’ Seal.
I adhered the layered DSP panels to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and then folded a small length of ribbon from the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack (available September 6) with Stampin’ Seal to the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the Autumn Leaves photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Early Espresso card stock, sprinkled it with copper embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.
I cut the sentiment out with the coordinating die from the Autumn Leave Dies (available September 6). I cut a panel of Cajun Craze card stock with the same die and then adhered the two die cuts together with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I added three dots from the Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of All About Autumn DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
