I used the Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set bundle that is an early release item from the January-April Mini Catalog to create a birthday card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.
Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC318. Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!
I started by adhering a panel of Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ DSP to a panel of Wild Wheat card stock with Stampin’ Seal. Then I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Garden Green card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I trimmed strips of Garden Walk DSP at an angle and then adhered them to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Hexagon photopolymer stamp set (early release item for World Card Making Day, available through October 7) in VersaMark ink on Poppy Parade card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.
I stamped the hexagon image from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set around the sentiment in Poppy Parade ink and then punch the image out with the coordinating Heartfelt Hexagon Punch (early release item for World Card Making Day, available through October 7). I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the added three Blooming Pearls to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Garden Walk DSP to finish the inside of the card.
