Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy Sympathy Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Something Fancy stamp set to create a sympathy card fro the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC321.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

My card was also inspired by TGIF Challenges #TGIFC444.

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered the embossed panel to another panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the Thick Basic White card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut panels of Pretty Peacock, Shaded Spruce and Pool Party card stocks with dies from the Magical Meadow Dies.  I cut panels of Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze card stocks with Dainty Delight Dies and then adhered the die cut pieces together and to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.  I tied a small bow from Linen Thread and adhered it to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Something Fancy stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Timeless Arrangements Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added five Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Hope You Know stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink and the greenery image from the Magical Meadow stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

  1. So pretty, Amy – I love the look of the bold but delicate stems against all that beautiful texture! Such a great way to showcase our colors!
