Stampin’ Up! Simply Sparkling Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Simply Sparkling stamp set bundle from the Online Exclusives to create a birthday card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.

Stampin' Up! Simply Sparkling Birthday Card

My card design was inspired by Tic Tac Toe TTTC235. I went diagonal from upper left to lower right.

I started by adhering a panel of Glorious Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP and a panel of Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal. Then I wrapped a small length of Lemon Lime Twist ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack around the card front and secured it on the back with Stampin’ Seal. I slid another small length of Lemon Lime Twist ribbon under the ribbon on the card front and tied a bow and then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with the Radiating Stitches Dies (Online Exclusive item, restocking around December 18) and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Holographic Trio Specialty Paper and then cut the paper with the Simply Sparkling Dies (Online Exclusive item). I adhered the bubble die cut with the Adhesive Sheets to the card front. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Sparkling stamp set (Online Exclusive item) in Coastal Cabana ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock. I cut around the sentiment with one of the Simply Sparkling Dies. I adhered the other Holographic Trio die cuts to the can die cut with the Adhesive Sheets.

I cut panels of Basic Black, Lemon Lime Twist and Lemon Lolly card stocks with the Simply Sparkling Dies and then adhered the die cuts to the can with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Glue Dots. I adhered the can to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I added two of the Ombre Matte Decorative Dots to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment and lemon images from the Simply Sparkling stamp set in Coastal Cabana and Lemon Lolly inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
