I used the Stampin’ Up! Submarine Life stamp set bundle from the upcoming January-April 2024 Mini Catalog to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.  I borrowed a little inspiration for my card from a project in the upcoming catalog.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel of Glorious Gingham DSP to the front of a Blueberry Bushel card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of scrap card stock with the scalloped die from the Carousel Horses Dies.  I placed that die cut over a panel of Basic White card stock and used a Blend Brush to apply Blueberry Bushel ink along the scalloped edge.

I stamped the sand, seaweed and fish images from the Submarine Life photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 4) in Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Shaded Spruce and Melon Mambo inks on the Basic White panel.  I inked the “trail” image in Blueberry Bushel ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on the Basic White card stock panel.  I adhered the stamped panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the submarine images from the Submarine Life stamp set in Crushed Curry and Poppy Parade inks on a panel of Basic White card stock and then punched them out with the coordinating Submarine Life Punch (available Jan 4).  I adhered the punched images with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Submarine Life stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink on a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock and then cut around it with one of the Wild Fern Dies (available Jan 4).  I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added three Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and sea images from the Submarine Life stamp set in Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
