Stampin’ Up! Detailed Dogwood Hello Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Detailed Dogwood stamp set from the upcoming 2024 Sale-a-bration Brochure to create a hello card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.

Stampin' Up! Detailed Dogwood Hello Card

I started by adhering a panel of One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ DSP (Online Exclusive item) to the front of a Crumb Cake card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a panel of Sunny Days DSP (Sale-a-bration item, available Jan 4) to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  I wrapped a length of Linen Thread around the card front three times and then tied a bow.

I stamped the flower image from the Detailed Dogwood stamp set (Sale-a-bration item, available Jan 4) in Granny Apple Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I colored the image with Light and Dark Lemon Lolly and Light Granny Apple Green and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Then I cut around the image with one of the Scalloped Contours Dies.  I inked the dotted image from the Detailed Dogwood stamp set in Crumb Cake ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it across the panel.  I adhered the die cut panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Softly Sophisticated photopolymer stamp set (Sale-a-bration item, available Jan 4) in Pecan Pie ink on a panel of Petal Pink card stock and then cut around it with one of the Wild Fern Dies (available Jan 4).  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added two of the Pecan Pie gems from the Opaque Faceted Gems (Sale-a-bration item, available Jan 4) to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of the One Horse Open Sleigh DSP to the bottom of a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
