Stampin’ Up! Bright Skies You Brighten My Day Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Bright Skies stamp set bundle from the upcoming January-April 2024 Mini Catalog and a little of the Sunny Days DSP from the 2024 Sale-a-bration Brochure to create a quick card to share with you today.  I made this project out on Instagram this morning and you can see it here.

The colors for my card were inspired by Global Design Project #GDP425.

I started by adhering a panel of Sunny Days DSP (Sale-a-bration item, available Jan 4) to the front of a Petal Pink card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered another panel of Sunny Days DSP with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I cut another panel of Sunny Days DSP with two of the Bright Skies Dies (available Jan 4) and adhered the die cuts to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the sun image from the Bright Skies photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 4) in Daffodil Delight ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the sun out with the coordinating die from the Bright Skies Dies and adhered the die cut with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.  I tied a small bow from Linen Thread and then adhered it to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot.

I stamped the sentiment from the Bright Skies stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Petal Pink card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Timeless Arrangements Dies and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Pool Party gems from the Opaque Faceted Gems (Sale-a-bration item, available Jan 4) to finish the card front.
