Stampin’ Up! Celebrate With Tags Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate With Tags stamp set and some of the Trusty Toolbox DSP from the 2024 Sale-a-bration Brochure to create a quick birthday card to share with you today.  I made this project out on Instagram this morning and you can see it here.

Stampin' Up! Celebrate With Tags Birthday Card

My card design was inspired by Sketch Saturday #652.

I started by adhering a panel of Trusty Toolbox DSP (available Jan 4, Sale-a-bration item) to the front of a Copper Clay card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a panel of Trusty Toolbox DSP to a panel of Crushed Curry card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a panel of Basic White card stock to the back of another panel of Trusty Toolbox DSP with Stampin’ Seal and then wrapped a length of Linen Thread around the panel.  I tied a knot with the thread and then adhered the DSP panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrate With Tags stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Poppy Parade card stock, sprinkled it with copper embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Trusty Tools Dies (available Jan 4), slid the die over about 1/2″ and cut the panel a second time to make it smaller.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots to the card front and then added two copper dots from the Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.

I cut two of the tools from the Trusty Toolbox DSP with the coordinating Trusty Tools Dies and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to finish the inside of the card.
