Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet Congratulations Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Lovely & Sweet stamp set bundle from the upcoming January-April 2024 Mini Catalog to create a thank you card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.

Stampin' Up! Lovely & Sweet Congratulations Card

I started by adhering a panel of Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP (available Jan 4) to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then adhered the layered panel to the front of a Petal Pink card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I adhered a smaller panel of White Vellum to the card front with Stampin’ Seal (hidden under the focal panel).

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Garden Meadows Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I cut a panel of Nature’s Sweetness DSP with the coordinating Lovely & Sweet Dies (available Jan 4).  I colored the die cut lightly with Petal Pink, Crumb Cake and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the die cut image to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then cut a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with the smaller leaf dies from the Lovely & Sweet Dies and adhered the die cuts to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I tied a bow with Linen Thread and adhered it to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set (available Jan 4) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Wonderful Thoughts Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimemsionals to the card front.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with the small flower die from the Lovely & Sweet Dies and then used a Sponge Dauber to apply Petal Pink ink to the die cut flowers.  I adhered the flowers with rolled up Mini Glue Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped flower image from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set in Petal Pink ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
