Stampin’ Up! Sending Love Mailbox Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sending Love stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a theme challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Sending Love Mailbox Card

Here is the theme that we’re using this week:

My card also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC239.  I went straight across the top, down the left side, across the center and diagonal from lower left to upper right…so I got most of the boxes!

I started by adhering a panel of Most Adoring Specialty DSP (Sale-a-bration item) to the front of a Flirty Flamingo card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered another panel of Most Adoring DSP to the card front at an angle with Stampin’ Seal.  I inked a panel of Basic White card stock with Coastal Cabana ink and a Blending Brush.

Then I stamped the mailbox image from the Sending Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Gray Granite, Flirty Flamingo and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the mailbox out with the coordinating die from the Sending Love Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.  I stamped the heart image from the Sending Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the inked panel and then colored the images with Light and Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers and then adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sending Love in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock and the cut it with one of the Sending Love Dies.  I adhered the die cut grass to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I stamped the envelope image from the Sending Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with the coordinating die from the Sending Love Dies.  I snipped the edge of the envelope off and then adhered it with Stampin’ Seal “inside” the mailbox.  I added five white sequins from the Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sending Love stamp set in Real Red ink on Basic White card stock and then adhered a strip of Most Adored DSP to finish the inside of the card.
