I used the Stampin’ Up! Beach Day stamp set bundle to create a birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.

I started by adhering a panel of Lighter Than Air 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of a Lemon Lolly card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut two panels of Crumb Cake card stock with the die from the Beach Day Dies.  I inked the edges of the die cuts with Pecan Pie ink and a Small Blending Brush and then stamped the sentiment from the Beach Day photopolymer stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on one of the die cuts.  I adhered the die cuts to a panel of Pool Party card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the lifeguard shack, surfboard, beach ball and bird images from the Beach Day stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I used Light and Dark Gray Granite, Pool Party, Lemon Lolly and Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends Markers to color the images.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Beach Days Dies and then adhered the images with Stampin’ Seal, Mini Glue Dots and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with the cloud dies from the Hot Air Balloon Dies and then adhered the die cuts to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.   I snipped the edge of the clouds even with the edge of the Pool Party card stock panel and then added two Pool Party gems from the Opaque Faceted Gems (Sale-a-bration item) to finish the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Beach Day stamp set in Pecan Pie ink and the surfboard and beach ball in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I colored the images with Light and Dark Bubble Bath, Pool Party and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
