Stampin’ Up! Flower Cart Lovely Day Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Flower Cart stamp set to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Stampin' Up! Flower Cart Lovely Day Card

Here are the colors that we’re all using this week:

My card design was inspired by Sketch Saturday Sketch #743.

I started by adhering a panel of Perennial Lavender DSP (restocking around February 12) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the front of a Crumb Cake card base.  Then I cut a square from Perennial Lavender DSP with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.

I adhered the die cut panel to another panel of Perennial Lavender DSP with Stampin’ Seal and then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel and tied a bow.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I cut panels of Lost Lagoon and Highland Heather card stocks with two of the Painted Lavender Dies (restocking around February 19).  I slid the die cut pieces under the Linen Thread and adhered them with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Flower Cart photopolymer stamp set in Gorgeous Grape ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock and then cut around it with one of the Everyday Details Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added two Purple Fine Shimmer Gems to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Perennial Lavender DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
